Passive Optical Tag Detection System

The Photon-X Optical Tagging System is one of the many applications of our patented, innovative sensor platform. The high resolution and on-board intelligence designed into the Photon-X sensor enable it to be used in a variety of ways detecting and tracking small optical tags affixed to items such as vehicles, packages, crates, or worn by personnel. Once detected within its field of view, a tag may be processed, authenticated and tracked by the camera. Network-enabled, the sensors can be placed in remote locations and operate in an unattended fashion with the ability to alert an external application or device when a tag is found in its field of view. The sensor system is independent of the lens allowing various application-specific lenses to be used. As a passive sensor, our systems rely on ambient light or radiation to detect tags. By eliminating the need for IR or special illumination, the ease of use and reduced likelihood of user detection enhance the safety of its operator in special operations or surveillance applications.

Biometric Verification Systems

Photon-X’s Spatial Phase technology provides a true 3D shape-based signature and does not require subject pose and lighting constraints.
