TAGGING TECHNOLOGY
Using advanced chemical compounds not readily duplicated, Photon-X has developed an assortment of secure tagging materials and dyes. When applied to clear substrates, these materials are practically invisible to the unaided eye and non-visually alerting for use in covert or special operations. As clear films, these tags can also be applied to existing applications such as security badges, ID cards, laminates, bumper stickers, package and crate labels and other assets to be tracked. By tailoring the dye chemistry, tags can be created that are detectable at particular wavelengths if the application should require such.
A liquid tagging material can be applied to clothing, bags, covers, or woven into materials for strategic applications. Photon-X has successfully demonstrated the detection, authentication and tracking of applied film tags being developed for several government and commercial applications.
Photon-X 3D sensors can also provide unique information about the tag in view. By embedding barcode or characteristic patterns into the invisible tag, a unique tag can be generated for each item or person to be tracked. This allows tag authentication and discrimination to support applications such as differentiating between staff and patients in a secure healthcare facility, detecting restricted personnel in unauthorized locations or allowing only certain vehicles onto a property.
