Business Development/Proposal Writer

• Produce complete, responsive Request for Proposals and Quotes (RFPs and RFQs), meeting deadlines and working with the team to understand customers’ needs and the Company’s capabilities.
• Respond to government RFPs and RFQs and government inquiries on company capabilities.
• Write (original text) and edit materials for proposals, reports, briefs, web content, and press releases.
• Edit, standardize, brand, or make changes to material prepared by other team members.

• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
• 5-10 years experience in government proposal development and delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Broad thinker who can conceptualize ideas and develop written narrative that supports strategy.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret and communicate various types of market information and statistics in a meaningful way.
